IT IS TIME TO RESIGN

We have been talking a lot lately about the coming “Tribulation” and persecution that is about to slap the sides of this Earth. We also have been warning the church that this IS the trouble spoken of in Revelation coming very soon. We also have been warning the believers that the wonderful “Get out of jail” free card so many preachers are proclaiming is false, to prepare and be ready to go thru more than what today’s leaders are saying.

It is our intention to prepare the believer, though the “Rapture” could take place at any time, the very purpose of these tribulations of fire is not for wrath or judgment, but to purify the body of Christ, and make her able to stand and be worthy to enter into God’s Heaven. There are many precedents in scripture that validate the doctrine of hard trials and tribulations coming to teach us, clean us and make us in right standing with God.

What many scholars and teachers fail to understand is the ending “Tribulation” period is broken into tribulations (fire purging for saints), and then the final wrath of God to pour out on the unrepentant unbelievers. God never delivers us out of fire purging tribulation and trouble, because going thru it makes us more holy, much stronger saints. I do not feel by the Spirit of God, nor do I see in scripture anything that says we will be present for all of this, hence the reason for the “Blessed Hope”, and this scripture: “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matthew 24:22)

You have been sufficiently warned. Thru many devotionals from WATCHMEN OF THE WALL MINISTRIES we have fully warned you of the events to come. From the spirit of FEAR to be set loose, to the coming supernatural HATRED against one another, to finally the TRUMPET judgments of Revelation beginning to sound, you have been warned. What I want you to understand now is how to deal with these warnings. The big question now is, “okay, I am being warned of the coming end, of Jesus’ return, and preceding judgment, what must I do to ensure I am walking down the right path, and come thru these judgments on the right side?”

It is very simple, almost so simple that it will be missed by many Christians; they will not understand the very simplicity of the answer and fall away during the coming hard times.
Are you ready for the answer? Here it is:

“Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.”(Luke 18:17). Think about this scripture for a moment. We all understand the normal take on this, but listen to its even deeper meaning. A child has complete trust in its parents. When they are young, they are completely submissive to their parents teaching, protection and provision. I know as they grow older, it becomes a different story, but it is that childlike submission, or for a better word, resignation, to their parents knowing what is right for them, that I want you to understand. You can’t fight against the fire, the Holy Spirit knows what he is doing, and will finish the job he starts in you. You must resign, like a child, submit to what he says to do, whatever he says to clean up, whatever he says to deal with, in your life. No matter how strange, no matter how hard it may seem, he will help you to overcome. And he, the Holy Ghost, will guide you thru the fire, and the tribulation to the winning side. Resign to his will and you will make it.

Purified by Fire

Revelation 3:14-22 -

"And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."

If God wore a watch, the world would be its face and the Israel & the Church its hands.

God lives outside of the limitations of time and space; however, He created both as boundaries to govern our lives - and we here at Watchmen of the Wall Ministries have been strongly urged by the Holy Spirit to use what time we have left to prepare the Body of Christ for these last days.

"See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is." - Ephesians 5:15-17.

The last few devotions posted on this blog have been deemed as "warnings"; but perhaps a better term to use would be "announcements". Announcements concerning the events soon to unfold that will usher in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe the "Trumpets Judgements" declared in Revelation concerning the time known as the "tribulation" are about to begin. We also believe that the Church will, by necessity, be present and participant of at least part of this "time of sorrows".

Why is it necessary? The scriptures stated above are the last of the letters the Lord instructed John to send to the seven churches that were present in his day. However, those seven letters also describe the seven prophetic "ages" the church would reflect throughout human history up until the glorious return of Jesus - the last church age being the Laodicean Church - the condition the church is currently in today. The Word of God declares that the Lord would return for a bride that has made herself ready for her groom.

"And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints." - Revelation 19:6-8.

It doesn't take a prophet or spiritual giant to realize that the present day church is not ready for the return of her bride. That is where the "fire" comes in. John the baptist prophesied. "He shall baptize you(the church) with the Holy Ghost and with fire". Beloved, God is determined to have a bride fit for His Son; and gracious enough to make her that way!

This may be hard to accept, but the purpose for the period known as the "tribulation" is not to redeem the world....its purpose is to redeem the Church! Redeem us from the cold-hearted, sin-infested, luke-warm, compromised state we have allowed ourselves to get in. Redeem us back to the spotless virgin bride we were the very first day we were saved. And how will He do this? Baptized, purified, and tried by fire!

Beloved, this will sound like a complete contradiction, but it is actually the Grace of God that will permit the Church to remain here the tribulation. It is His Mercy that we are purified by the fire of persecution so that we are able to withstand the fire of His holy presence!

"For our God is a consuming fire." - Hebrews 12:29.

Watchmen of the Wall Ministries is attempting to do our best to be the friend of the bridegroom and "announce" to those who will hear and receive that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand...prepare to go forth and meet the bridegroom. And we are going to do what most ministers, prophets, and preachers fail to do.....tell you how to prepare yourself.

Beloved, the only way to prepare yourself for the events that lie ahead is "acceptance and reservation". You must accept the fact that the period know as the tribulation is going to be used by God to prepare the Church for the return of the Lord. You must be willing to let go of the idealistic theology of "escaping" and determine in your heart to accept the realistic theology of "embracing". You must reserve yourself to fire that is meant to purify you...try you...and ultimately glorify you.

So....who will believe our report? Will you yield yourself to the potter's hand? Will you submit willingly to your faith being hammered on the anvil of God? Will you commend your heart, soul, and spirit to the refining fire that will purify you as gold? If so....then you will soon be able without reservation to proclaim the same words that John did....

"Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."

THE COMING TRUMPET JUDGMENTS

And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
(Revelation 8: 6-7)

If you have any knowlege of the book of Revelation, then you realize what I am saying here is very sobering. God is warning his people, who will listen, that the trumpets of judgment are about to sound on this earth. What exactly does that mean to you? I am taking the time to revisit this warning from our first blog, " the greatest warning we will ever give", because I don't think it is hitting home for the readers of this devotional website.

Some points to realize about the Revelation trumpet judgments:

1. HORRIBLE JUDGMENT FROM GOD, LIKE NEVER HAS BEEN ON THIS EARTH BEFORE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN. THERE WILL BE NO ESCAPE.
2. TRUMPET JUDGMENTS ARE FAR INTO THE EVENTS OF THE "TRIBULATION PERIOD" SPOKEN SO MUCH BY PROPHECY TEACHERS. - THIS MEANS ALL THOSE PEOPLE SPEAKING WE WILL GET OUT OF HERE AND TOUCH NO PERSECUTION ARE WRONG!
3. THESE JUDGMENTS ARE DESIGNED TO TAKE AWAY OUR COMMODITIES, (FOOD, CLOTHING, ENERGY). THE THINGS WE RELY ON MORE THAN WE DO GOD, AND HOLD MUCH HIGER REGARD FOR THAN OUR HEAVENLY FATHER.
4. THE VERY PURPOSE OF TRIBULATIONS OF FIRE MEANS WE CANNOT "GET OUT OF HERE" BEFORE ANYTHING HAPPENS.

I want you to understand here, that the church must endure some of these trials that the tribulation period will send. trials of fire are sent by God into our lives to prune us, reveal some wrong in us separating us from him, and then the "fire" of a trial or tribulation humbles us, breaks us down till we acknowlege and see the fault we have and repent of God who then forgives us and helps us to overcome.

I submit to you today, the "church" must endure the fire of the coming tribulation. How far we go into it will be determined by God alone, but we will go thru it. The church world today suffers from things that would not allow her to stand ready, spotless before God. We are victim to hate, greed, selfishness, lust, pride and a general apathy toward God that is alarming!

But beloved, isn't God such a wonderful God that he is willing to set up the fire (tribulation) to purify us to stand in heaven, warn us ahead of time of its coming, and gives us the power to endure it with a way of escape when the time is right! You can stand, you can be washed clean and ready to enter into the Heaven God has prepared for you for eternity. But you must have a garment to get into heaven's party, and the only way to get that spotless garment is to let the fire of God wash you clean.

REPLY TO THE GREATEST WARNING

I want to clarify some of the things that were said in our last devotional; "The greatest warning we will ever give". It has come to my attention that many of our readers of this blog were concerned and missunderstanding on some of my warnings. This is to help you to understand, and not be confused. Again, I want you to understand I give you this warning in love, as the Spirit of the Lord has instructed me. I am not interested in debating, whatever reservations you have about this, please talk to the Lord about them.

The reference to; "unlike what many preachers are saying, we will get out of here", means simply many preachers, teachers and prophecy teachers tell you they have the inside scoop on how things will end. Depending on which one you listen to, the majority of "Leaders" tell us we will get out of here before any trouble, persecution or trials befall the children of God. I firmly believe we will get "out of here" via the event called the "Blessed hope";...(For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. ) - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

But beloved, read your Bible for yourself! Stop relying totally on some preacher or scholar, hanging on his or her every word as gold, never questioning the possiblity that they could be wrong! Read and you will find evidence that God never, ever gave his children a "get out of Jail free card" at any time when persecution, tribulation or trials were to come on the Earth. In fact, Jesus himself said; "Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:10). You will find Joseph went into prison, Daniel was thrown in the lions den, the 3 Hebrew Boys were cast into the furnace of fire, John the Baptist's head did fall of the chopping block, most of the apostles died a horrible death because of their faith, and finally, our Lord and saviour (Jesus Christ) was not spared the cruel beatings, whippings with cords of bone shards and nailed to a tree because he aligned himself with the creator of the universe, God.

Their is more evidence in scripture supporting the fact that we, the children of God, will see more of this thing called the "tribulation" than these "get out of here early" proclaimers. The reference to: "WE ARE ABOUT TO BEGIN THE TRUMPET JUDGMENTS!" means God is warning me, not only have we passed into the beginning of trouble, but we are already into the last great round of events before the end of this age. I strongly urge you to read Revelation chapter 7 and 8 after you are finished with this devotional. This judgment is coming now, if it is not already sounded in the throne room of God! I will dive deeper into this meaning in our next devotional so please continue to read these coming blogs.

Many have stated that I am a false prophet, that I am self righteous and mislead for saying and standing on the fact that I hear the voice of the Lord, and that he clearly speaks to me in this manner, warning me of coming future events. If you attack me personally, that is ok, I still love you in Christ. But I want you to consider one point. Don't take my word for it, take the words of Jesus Christ instead. Jesus told John the Apostle in his Revelation to the churches this statement: ( Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand. (Revelation 1:3) Think about that!

This book called "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" was a series of warnings and visions written not to non-believers, lost souls, or such the like. But these were warnings written to prepare the 7 churches in Asia Minor! Get it? To believers of Jesus Christ to prepare!

I want to leave you with this thought for now. Why would God waste his time, writing in detail the coming future events, world stage, coming persecution and martyrdom of believers and warnings of what to do and what not to do, if, we as believers were not going to be here to need warning? Think about that!

If you don't believe me to be a "Watcher", fine. But read for yourself. Ask yourself the hard questions. If we are getting out of here before the bad comes, why do we need to know about the bad and be warned. Either Believe the words of Jesus Christ, or you had better tear the book of Daniel and Revelation out of your Bible!
