THE COMING TRUMPET JUDGMENTS

And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
(Revelation 8: 6-7)

If you have any knowlege of the book of Revelation, then you realize what I am saying here is very sobering. God is warning his people, who will listen, that the trumpets of judgment are about to sound on this earth. What exactly does that mean to you? I am taking the time to revisit this warning from our first blog, " the greatest warning we will ever give", because I don't think it is hitting home for the readers of this devotional website.

Some points to realize about the Revelation trumpet judgments:

1. HORRIBLE JUDGMENT FROM GOD, LIKE NEVER HAS BEEN ON THIS EARTH BEFORE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN. THERE WILL BE NO ESCAPE.
2. TRUMPET JUDGMENTS ARE FAR INTO THE EVENTS OF THE "TRIBULATION PERIOD" SPOKEN SO MUCH BY PROPHECY TEACHERS. - THIS MEANS ALL THOSE PEOPLE SPEAKING WE WILL GET OUT OF HERE AND TOUCH NO PERSECUTION ARE WRONG!
3. THESE JUDGMENTS ARE DESIGNED TO TAKE AWAY OUR COMMODITIES, (FOOD, CLOTHING, ENERGY). THE THINGS WE RELY ON MORE THAN WE DO GOD, AND HOLD MUCH HIGER REGARD FOR THAN OUR HEAVENLY FATHER.
4. THE VERY PURPOSE OF TRIBULATIONS OF FIRE MEANS WE CANNOT "GET OUT OF HERE" BEFORE ANYTHING HAPPENS.

I want you to understand here, that the church must endure some of these trials that the tribulation period will send. trials of fire are sent by God into our lives to prune us, reveal some wrong in us separating us from him, and then the "fire" of a trial or tribulation humbles us, breaks us down till we acknowlege and see the fault we have and repent of God who then forgives us and helps us to overcome.

I submit to you today, the "church" must endure the fire of the coming tribulation. How far we go into it will be determined by God alone, but we will go thru it. The church world today suffers from things that would not allow her to stand ready, spotless before God. We are victim to hate, greed, selfishness, lust, pride and a general apathy toward God that is alarming!

But beloved, isn't God such a wonderful God that he is willing to set up the fire (tribulation) to purify us to stand in heaven, warn us ahead of time of its coming, and gives us the power to endure it with a way of escape when the time is right! You can stand, you can be washed clean and ready to enter into the Heaven God has prepared for you for eternity. But you must have a garment to get into heaven's party, and the only way to get that spotless garment is to let the fire of God wash you clean.
