Sin is a poisonous weed that throws the whole nature out of order. The inner life disintegrates; the flesh lusts after forbidden pleasures; the moral judgment is distorted so that often good appears evil and evil good; time is chosen over eternity, earth over heaven and death over life.
This in large measure accounts for the vivid and colorful language employed by the prophets and apostles to describe the effects of sin. "The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores" (Isaiah 1:5–6, KJV). This is a sample from Isaiah. A dozen pages of quotations equally as strong could be taken from the other prophets and psalmists.
The New Testament is generally thought to be milder than the Old, but we have only to read Christ's indictment of the Pharisees to discover how wrong such a notion is. Peter, John and Jude dip their pens in liquid fire to do justice to the blazing wrath of God against sin, while Paul traces the serpentine path of sin through the human system and proves how confused and morally self-contradictory the heart is that has not been separated from its iniquity.

THE ULTIMATE TEST OF FAITH

There comes a time in the life of every believer—as well as in the church—when God puts us to the ultimate test of faith. It’s the same test Israel faced on the wilderness side of the Jordan. What is this test?
It is to look at all the dangers ahead—the giant issues facing us, the high walls of affliction, the principalities and powers that seek to destroy us—and to cast ourselves totally on God’s promises. The test is to commit ourselves to a lifetime of trust and confidence in his Word. It’s a commitment to believe that God is bigger than all our problems and enemies.
Our heavenly Father isn’t looking for a faith that deals with one problem at a time. He’s looking for a lifetime faith, a lifelong commitment to believe him for the impossible. This kind of faith brings a calm and rest to our soul, no matter what our situation. And we have this calm because we’ve settled once and for all, “My God is bigger. He is able to bring me out of any and all afflictions.”
Our Lord is loving and longsuffering, but he won’t allow his people to dwell in unbelief. You may have been tested time after time and now the time has come for you to make a decision. God wants faith that endures the ultimate test, a faith that won’t allow anything to shake you from trust and confidence in his faithfulness.
There is so much theology surrounding the topic of faith. Simply put, we can’t conjure it up. We can’t create it by repeating, “I believe, I really believe….” No, faith is a commitment we make to obey God. Obedience reflects belief.
As Israel faced Jericho, the people were told not to say a word, but simply to march. These faithful believers didn’t whisper to themselves, “Help me to believe, Lord. I so want to believe.” No, they were focused on the one thing God asked of them: to obey his Word and go forward.
That is faith. It means setting your heart to obey all that is written in God’s Word, without questioning it or taking it lightly. And we know that if our hearts are determined to obey, God will make sure his Word to us is clear, without confusion. Moreover, if he commands us to do something, he’ll supply us with the power and strength to obey: “Let the weak say, I am strong” (Joel 3:10). “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might” (Ephesians 6:10).

YOUR NOT IN CONTROL, SOMEONE ELSE IS!
And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
(ACTS 19:15)
There are forces at work in this world that most Christians really don’t understand. Oh, we have thousands of books and materials on “Spiritual Warfare” explaining the 5 steps and 10 ways to beat the devil and kick him around like a WWF wrestler, and with pride proclaim, “I am in command!” How ignorant we are of what really is going on behind the scenes.
Now, before you misunderstand me, Scripture does state we have authority, as children of God, over the enemy, and I firmly teach that. But, what is being taught in our churches as authority, and Biblical authority, is not the same thing. And, I must warn you, if you are playing around with the devil, you put you and your family in jeopardy! Satan is not some cartoon character that we can play around with.
Our scripture reference today proves this. In this story, seven sons of a high priest named Sceva, were out performing “Exorcisms”, you know, those bogus rituals you see on movies by people who have no true authority, to cast out and command demons. These sons thought that the power was in the ritual, a command, a word spoken simply because Jesus said it. Listen to me today, you do not have power over devils and demons because you shout loud sayings from the Bible, scream and chant, that means nothing to Satan. You have power over Satan because you have power with God, because you not only know Jesus, But He (Jesus) knows you by name, his spirit lives and burns in your soul, and you are anointed with his presence. It is his presence plus his word, which gives you authority and protection, it works no other way. You can’t have one without the other.
There are not many forces at work, there are only 2, the force of God, and the forces of evil and these two are at war as we speak over the souls of men and women. Which side are you on? Better yet, which side are you letting control you? If you are not submitting to the will and leadership of the Spirit of God, and his word, in every area of you life, then you are controlled by the other, evil. And let me say this, SATAN AND HIS DEMONS WILL NEVER, EVER BE YOUR FRIEND!
They only want to destroy you. Run to protection today, run to Jesus. Do you feel concerned in some way that you are open to attack? That is your cue from the spirit of God that you need to come closer to Jesus in your life. Let go of that pet sin, stop the rebellion in your life. You cannot defeat Satan; it took a risen Saviour to do that. And you must be in his protection to not end up like the sons of Sceva, beaten and wounded. Run to Jesus now!

God does not have a "Plan B" (Part Two)
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ..." - Philippians 1:6
Now, let's consider the lie so many believers have fell victim to of messing things up so bad that God has "wrote them off' or "changed the plan"....remember...."whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son," (Romans 8:29). As God knew the end from the beginning, so also He knew His children before they were even born! And God chose them based on that foreknowledge. God created Adam - knowing Adam would eat the forbidden fruit, God called Abraham - knowing Abraham was an habitual liar, God chose Jacob - knowing Jacob would steal his brother's birthright and blessing, God anointed David - knowing David would commit adultery, God chose Thomas - knowing Thomas was a sceptic, God chose Paul - knowing he would first be Saul the Persecutor, and the list goes on.....
But one of the best illustrations for our topic today is Peter. Peter....the "maverick" disciple of New Testament Christianity - the first one to walk on the water with Jesus - the first one to proclaim Jesus as the "Messiah, the Son of the living God" - the first one to preach the Gospel on the day of Pentecost - the first one to declare to Jesus, "I will lay down my life for thy sake."(John 13:37). But we must remember....he was also Peter - the one who was rebuked by Paul for being a hypocrite - the one who was openly rebuked by Jesus for speaking under the influence of Satan - and the one who denied even knowing the Lord three times on the night Jesus was betrayed.
God not only shared Peter's greatest moments of faith for all to read; but He also paraded Peter's greatest moments of failure for all to read as well. We may wonder - why does God show His most devoted servants in their greatest victories, only to show us their greatest moments of failure and weakness on the very next page? It is not because God gets any satisfaction from seeing His children reflected in the worse light of humanity. It is to teach His children a truth that will grant them one of the greatest victories in the walk of life.
Doubtless, Peter meant every word he stated to Jesus on the night Jesus declared that all would forsake him. Peter was truly sincere when he told the Lord he would rather die with Him than live without Him. Jesus knew Peter would deny Him, would swear away his Galilean heritage to save his own neck. As a matter of fact, Jesus knew Peter would do this very thing when He called Peter to follow Him the very first time - and He still chose him. But after denying His Lord three times, Peter thought all was lost - that he had committed a betrayal even worst than Judas had - and had it not been for the fact that Jesus had prayed for Peter, this failure would have driven Peter in his despair to react to his shame and disgrace the very same way that Judas had done. But it was the choice Peter had to make during his greatest confrontation that we want to focus on -
"This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep." - John 21:14-17.
Many sermons have been preached regarding the scriptures stated above. Many have stated that the reason Jesus had to ask Peter three times. "Do you love me?", is because Peter denied the Lord three times. This may be true. But the greatest message we should glean from this confrontation is one you may never have heard before. Jesus was giving Peter a choice - a choice that would govern his faith the rest of his life. And it would also give Peter one of the greatest weapons of warfare against the enemy in the days and years to come. "Peter, do you still love me? Then feed my sheep. Peter, do you understand? Peter, will you believe? - Despite your failure, My love for you is still the same. Despite your betrayal, My plan for you has not changed. Regardless of the fact that you feel as if you have committed a sin that now disqualifies you, My plan for your life is still the same."
"For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." - Romans 11:29.
Beloved, don't believe the lie of Satan - that you have "went too far" and cannot come back - that even if you do return, "it will never be the same". That because of your faults, your failures, your horrible mess up, that even if you make it to heaven, there will only be some sort of "consolation" prize waiting for you. "Don't you understand? Will you believe? " The plan and calling God has for your life has not changed. It has been and always will be the same. The plan and calling God had for you the day you were saved is the same one He will have for you the day you die!
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand." - Psalm 37:23 & 24.
A word from the Lord for all you "misfits" out there - "Rejoice and lift those heads that hang low - for I am the Lord, and I still love you! I have still called you for My purpose! You are still My Beloved. You are still My son! You are still My daughter! And My plan for you is still the same!"
Beloved, the real victory is not showing up in heaven with a flawless record - free from battle scars, failures, self-inflicted wounds - it is that, despite the battle scars, despite the failures, despite the self-inflicted wounds -we still made it home! So rejoice in the Lord always...and again, I say rejoice!
"Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:33-39.

A WARNING FROM OUR LORD
And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. (Luke 12:10)
I want to speak to you today about an attack on God that is so horrible, it is one that God says he will not forgive. And listen to me, if you are not forgiven of God, you will not spend eternity with God.
We have ministers, if you want to call them that, which is preaching a doctrine that says you cannot build a church on the book of Acts. They say that the church and the New Testament was in flux, in transition, from old to new, and flukeish, weird things happened then that are not meant to happen anymore. This is how they explain away certain things out of their life and church that are not there, because they take a high price of pure living and faith to receive, and they don’t want to do that price.
Can you imagine this? If parts of the Bible cannot be used for instruction, correction, and emulation in all areas of our life and church, then none of it is any good, because it is corrupted! But these teachers and preachers of powerless gospel tell this to congregations every morning. It is no wonder that miracles, healings, and powerful salvations have ceased in our church, we have allowed these liars to RAPE us of truth Jesus died to give.
What are these preachers saying that are not supposed to happen anymore?

THE GIFT OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES (ALSO A HEAVENLY LANGUAGE)
PRAYING FOR MIRACLES
PRAYING FOR MIRACLE HEALINGS
Listen to me beloved, I am not preaching a denomination here, for I am not aligned to such manmade divisions. But you will find these lies preached in most major METHODIST, BAPTIST, SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST churches and all their different denominations. It has been Satan’s job to rob us of truth and power from God that we need to live Christian lives for him. And he has done his job in these manmade, poisonous denominations. Don’t misunderstand me, there are some good hearted people caught up in this mess, and I pray that these people are helped by God, but this is a LIE!
YOU CAN BUILD YOUR LIFE, YOUR CHURCH, AND YOUR MINISTRY, ON THE BOOK OF ACTS!!!!!!!!
The baptism of the Holy Ghost, something separate from the salvation experience, is for you and you need it. The gifts of the spirit mentioned in Acts and in 1st Corinthians 12 are for you today, and you need it. I challenge any minister reading this out there to show me where it says plainly in the word these things were just for the apostles then! I challenge you reading this to find it! And when you don’t find such a word, because this is theology made up in the minds of powerless preachers to explain away the powerlessness in their ministry, what are you going to do about it?
The reason our churches are failing the call of God is because we no longer follow the example of the Book OF Acts. Jesus set up his church in the book of Acts, just the way he wanted it, and we were commanded to follow this example until he returned. How far we have fallen! Their was unity, love, financial security, and the real supernatural power of God their as they followed the example. And the Amen of God was their also as he added thousands of new converts to the church.
Don’t believe the lie of the denomination, the minister, the teacher that tells you the book of Acts and the power presentations in there are not for you today.
THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST IS REAL – TODAY
THE GIFTS OF TONGUES,MIRACLES, HEALINGS ARE REAL – TODAY
THE BOOK OF ACTS (ALL OF IT) IS OUR ROAD MAP TO CHURCH BUILDING – TODAY
Be careful, Satan would love to get you to blaspheme the spirit of God, and speak against what I am telling you, for he knows it is the one thing God will not forgive (Matthew 12)

I challenge you, all of you, put your preacher, your denomination, on the line and read the book of Acts for your self. You will find both do not line up together, you will have to choose, I hope you choose the right thing.

It is no wonder that miracles, healings, and powerful salvations have ceased in our church, we have allowed these liars to RAPE us of truth Jesus died to give.

Listen to me beloved, I am not preaching a denomination here, for I am not aligned to such manmade divisions. But you will find these lies preached in most major METHODIST, BAPTIST, SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST churches and all their different denominations. It has been Satan’s job to rob us of truth and power from God that we need to live Christian lives for him. And he has done his job in these manmade, poisonous denominations. Don’t misunderstand me, there are some good hearted people caught up in this mess, and I pray that these people are helped by God, but this is a LIE!
YOU CAN BUILD YOUR LIFE, YOUR CHURCH, AND YOUR MINISTRY, ON THE BOOK OF ACTS!!!!!!!!
The baptism of the Holy Ghost, something separate from the salvation experience, is for you and you need it. The gifts of the spirit mentioned in Acts and in 1st Corinthians 12 are for you today, and you need it. I challenge any minister reading this out there to show me where it says plainly in the word these things were just for the apostles then! I challenge you reading this to find it! And when you don’t find such a word, because this is theology made up in the minds of powerless preachers to explain away the powerlessness in their ministry, what are you going to do about it?
The reason our churches are failing the call of God is because we no longer follow the example of the Book OF Acts. Jesus set up his church in the book of Acts, just the way he wanted it, and we were commanded to follow this example until he returned. How far we have fallen! Their was unity, love, financial security, and the real supernatural power of God their as they followed the example. And the Amen of God was their also as he added thousands of new converts to the church.
Don’t believe the lie of the denomination, the minister, the teacher that tells you the book of Acts and the power presentations in there are not for you today.

IS THESE THINGS HAPPENING IN YOUR LIFE BELIEVER? Or have you let pride and false teachers tell you it is not real?
I challenge you, all of you, put your preacher, your denomination, on the line and read the book of Acts for your self. You will find both do not line up together, you will have to choose, I hope you choose the right thing.
